This programme provided placement and training to empower the poor particularly women living in the suburbs of Port-Louis through Garment Making programme for social and economic uplift. Through this training we could increase the employability of women through the entrepreneurship skills development and support the beneficiaries through a mentoring system to seek employment in the private sector or launch their small business and encourage them to operate in small team.

The persons targeted are mostly women who are in need of a special support to help them to come out of the poverty net. These persons are either divorced or their husbands are jailed or suffering from health problem and thus having low financial income and their families are unable to live a decent life.
